2nd Day of Sanity
13:32Two days of third wheeling my lovey-dovey friends at a local cafe have been kind of therapeutic. I asked for one word to start off my poem since I need to restart everything again -- it has been too long since I have last written anything that rhymed nor significant.
Waves
2am thoughts linger
like how the foam of the sea attaches itself onto the rocks
It travels in wavelength
from where I stood towards the horizon
The eternal uncertainty of revelations
made this fragile soul unwary
But does it, r e a l l y?
Posters on walls
relieve me from reality
Tangled fairy lights
distraught my sensibility
I wonder at night
if you love me
Do you, r e a l l y?
My emotions come in like w a v e s
when the full moon is at her peak
and magnify the tides
A tsunami drowning me into the abyss
You said you would save me
But will you, r e a l l y?
