“In all things of nature, there is something of the marvelous.”
 – Aristotle

I could think of many things that signify something of the marvelous; the faint strokes of cotton-like clouds that sandwiches our airplane, the crying of a mere babe and a stranger making a crooked nose and distorting his mouth to calm the situation, and coming back home to recalibrate after a bad heartbreak only to find others shared the same pain but in their own ways, thus made it easier to let go and heal with people who aren’t afraid to say “it is natural to get hurt as it is a way to grow.”

I look at life with a metaphor that I used to tell a friend of mine when he was depressed, “life is like learning how to ride a bicycle. The first stage is the training wheels phase that aids to keep you balanced and in place. The second stage is the accidents you go through once you are ready to go on your own. Balance, relax and fall. You will fall until your knee gets scrapped, your hand and arm gets bruised but you can never make it if you just give up, so you try and try again. The final stage is when you have mastered it, but consistency is key to reach your destination. However, stopping from time to time doesn’t often lead to loss of balance, but a chance to breathe and find your ground.
In order to get to the destination, you are bound to go through these stages in life, but always remember that it is only natural to experience pain and it is okay to stop and breathe for a while. You create your own journey in life, but the destination is definite. Do not give up, you are almost there.”
